Who we are

Old Imperial was formed to bring history and tradition back into the modern world. Where mass production has striped much character and story from certain products to meet the growing demand, we aim to bring back the desire for quality rather than quantity.

With connections between rum and the militaries of yesteryear we felt that there was nothing better to embody this desire than to hark back to the former ‘rum rations’ issued to British service men and women. Thanks to the efforts of these individuals in the 20th and 21st centuries, life has been protected and aided around the globe. Proving the the quality of the individual is always better than the quantity.

We aim to only produce a set number of our products each year, each bottle with its own unique ‘service number’ and story attached to it from soldiers, sailors and airmen around the globe.
